Dear Member,
It's time to pay your dues for 2011.The cost of Dues will be increasing to $20.00 this year. This is the first time in over 25 years that there has been a cost of membership increase. We are sighting general operating costs ie. Heating Fuel, Mowing Fuel, Electric, Taxes, Building and Grounds Maintenance, and rising Insurance costs as the collective reasons for the increase. The cost of initiation for new members will be going to $20.00 starting 01/01/11
To insure that you remain in good standing, mail your dues to me at the address listed on the renewal form, or pay me in person at our monthly meetings.
Replacement renewal forms can be downloaded and printed from the club website. Visit the website at "www.windsorfishandgame.org".
MEMBERS MUST DISPLAY MEMBERSHIP CARD WHILE ON CLUB PROPERTY.
Listed below are some improvements and activities that have occurred over the last year.
1. This year we accepted 85 new members bringing our membership to 735 without counting Jr. members.
2. We had a new stone path laid down leading out to the range area.
3. Keep in mind that only paper targets are to be used during open shooting. Do not abuse target holders.
Rules Change: NOTE!
50 Cal BMG is no longer allowed to be fired on club property.
The Officers and Directors will be monitoring the range more often to better control range rule infractions. If you are found to be shooting at anything but approved targets you will be asked to attend a directors meeting to retain your rights to your membership! We are very serious about using proper targets, and general safety, for the good of all members and neighbors.
Remember to turn on the buzzer before going down range to insure everyone has returned from down range BEFORE turning buzzer off.
REMINDER: Last member leaving, lock gate on your way out to ensure only members are using the facility. Gate lock combination changes April 1, 2011.
No alcohol is permitted! If witnessing someone using alcohol on the premises, get license number and notify club officer/director.
As you will see there are no extra events scheduled in 2011. Note the change in officers as a result of the December Election.
